Shresta Daley was born on july 19, 1989 in The Hague, The Netherlands as Shresta Sandhia Gopalrai.
On early age she was a pupil at several youth theatre schools and culture centers where she joined several theatre productions.
At age 12 she starts to write her own songs and start to record demos and covers in different studios
In 2005, at age of 15 Shresta gets accepted at the Performing art School in the Netherlands, specialization artist. In June 2009 Shresta graduates.
In 2006 Shresta formed a group called the “ ButtaStyle-crew” together with her classmate Belinda van der Stoep.
The group works in a duo formation as well as solo artists.
In 2008 they record their first song “ Rewind tha faya”
In 2009 shresta releases her solo debut single and music video Cruisin’
In 2010 Shresta releases the dancehall song “Drop the sweat” together with Jamaican artist Migraine (KF records).
